Reality Bites

Okay so I have decided to only weigh myself once a week...On Tuesday. I become a little obsessed when I am doing it every day. So this is what I am eating today...

Breakfast 8:30am - shake made with skim milk, yogurt, rolled oats, spinach, one scoop chocolate protein powder, frozen raspberries and ice. These shakes are really the best! I love them and they fill you up like a meal. I feel so energized when I have one :)

Snack/Lunch 11:30am - I was at costco with my sister so I shared a polish dog with her and a frozen yogurt sundae. I also had a two of bites of Errson pizza and two bites of his churro. I know this wasn't great but I tried... that is why I shared with my sister. Normally I would get my own. That is also why I am counting this as my snack and lunch. Really I think I have to remember my life is about living not dieting!

snack 2:20pm - 1/2 a shake made with frozen carrot juice, frozen raspberries, skim milk, yogurt and ice.

snack 4:10pm - I didn't have enought at my last snack and I got hungry...I am having a handful of cashews.

You sound like you are doing wonderfully! I need to get back on the wagon.

And it is true, you still have to live if you want this to be a lifestyle rather than a "diet."

I know what you mean about remembering that life is not all about dieting! Don't you get so sick of thinking about it?! But at the same time, I'm back up to 139 because I relaxed and gave in to my exhuastion yet again. Ugh! Thank you for commenting on my health blog---your guys' support means so much. I think you are awesome. Did you know that? I know what you mean about being obsessed with the scale. I am only weighing myself once a week, but until I start eating better it's not going to change much. I need healthier snacks around my house. We should hang out soon, did you get my voicemail?
