Day 5 - Reality

Breakfast: 1 cup kashi 7 grain puff cereal w/ soy milk and half a nectarine
Snack: one plum
Lunch: salad with mixed greens, grape tomatoes, cucumber, red peppers, green grapes, pistacios, feta cheese and a dressing of olive oil, balsalmic vinegar, dijion mustard, and salt & pepper. (served on a salad plate...:)I'm watching my portions)
Dessert: fresh whipped cream flavored with almond extract, a berry compote and fresh nectarine. (one cup serving... so yummy!)
Snack: Fiber one granola bar
Dinner: Creamy tomatoe pasta with freah peas and parmeasan cheese (my sister made this and it was divine...just over a one cup serving...no seconds even though I really wanted more! A salad with mixed greens, light ceasar dressing, grape tomatoes and freah parmesan cheese.
Dessert: Left over from my lunch dessert...even better the second time!

80 oz of water!!!!!

Exercise: 35 minutes run/walk intervals on the treadmill, free weights for upper body, 100 sit-ups, 15 push-ups!

Today was pretty great...lets see if I can keep it up!

YUM!!! I still miss you...I want to eat all the stuff you ate! Way to go! I need to buy some more fresh cream to eat with those frozen berries you gave me.

I'm glad you posted what was in that salad you made because it was soooooo good! Thank you so much for making lunch! It was seriously like a chicky girl restaurant!

Yes, a great day! I'm amazed at your 100 sit-ups. I'm going to shoot for 20 a day. Ask me tomorrow if I did 20, okay? I know Pilates will help with that too. I'm so glad we're all taking charge of this---it's really great to have this focus with our friends. Love you!
