Reality Bites - day one of really getting serious!

A "real time" look at what is going in my mouth...

Breakfast - shake made with one banana, a large spoonful of vanilla yogurt, 3/4 cup 1% milk, ice and a handful of fresh spinach. this is so good you can't even taste the spinach but you get your protein, fruit and veggies all in one drink.

one and a half water bottles so far...

Lunch - half cup of leftover chicken carbonara, one slice of fresh pineapple, diet coke (a gift from my visiting teacher), 5 grapes (I snitched when I was putting them away) one water bottle

Snack - a handful of chili cheese corn chips, 5 doughnut holes, 2 mini milky way bars, one water bottle

Dinner - egg white only omelet with onions, bacon, tomato, mushrooms, spinach, fresh basil and fresh Parmesan cheese. A slice of pistachio cranberry toast with butter and 2 pineapple slices. one water bottle

Dessert - 1/2 cup of Groom's Cake blue bell ice cream...to die for!!!!!

Okay so the snack really broke all the rules...it was late afternoon and you know when you are tired and hungry. Next time I will bring something healthy and not stop at the store on my way home to buy milk and end up buying treats for the kids "lateover" that I end up snitching :) I plan to drink more water tonight but I am not going to eat anything else...not food after 7pm right :) I did take the dog for a 20 minute walk/run with the kids tonight but I feel like a stuffed sausage in my clothes. My goal is to be 120lbs. I have 4 1/2 to get there and it seems to be so unreachable when all I am doing is gaining :( I think that one bad thing about the HCG was that it made me doubt my ability to lose weight on my own...anyway everyday is a new day and I have an opportunity each day each meal to make good choices. Okay so I got the kids a snack and ate some popcorn and then my friend Christa brought me home made eclairs...I ate one :)
