My weight today was 124.6...the same as yesterday...at least I am not on the upward climb anymore :)
So I am not blogging Sunday if you haven't noticed. I am reading the Abs diet book right now and I am not finished yet but I am going to try and implement some of the stuff now. This afternoon I am running my 6.5 miles...I will let you know how it goes. This is what is going in my mouth real time today...
8 am Breakfast - shake with one scoop chocolate protein powder, raspberries, yogurt, 1% milk, oatmeal, and ice. (This was really yummy! I had my doubts about the oatmeal in my shake but it was good and filling)
11:30am snack - I ate some whole wheat bread samples at HEB. I was trying to decide which one to get. I got the marathon multi-grain. I was planning on a better snack than this but the way the timing went I don't want to snack now I want to have lunch soon and then get back on a good schedule. I have had one water bottle (17.9 oz.)
12:45pm Lunch - 4 pieces of my sushi dragon roll with fresh ginger and soy sauce, one nectarine sliced with a dollop of vanilla yogurt, a diet pepsi
2:20 pm snack - shake made with 1% milk, vanilla yogurt, a handful of spinach, frozen raspberries, one scoop chocolate protein powder, a tablespoon of flax seed and ice. This shake is so good. I am trying to use the power 12 foods in the Abs diet. Lucky for me I had flax seed in my fridge from when my parents came to visit. They eat it like everyday on cereal or in their orange juice. It is yummy and has a nutty flavor So this shake had 6 power foods in it!!! I hope is the fuel I will need for my run in a couple of hours :)

I filled my camel back with water for the run...6.5 miles in 74 minutes :) I haven't run that far in almost 20 years!
6:30pm Dinner - sandwich with roast beef, Havarti cheese, spinach, hot mustard and Hellman's light mayo on multi-grain bread. Blueberries with a dollop of vanilla yogurt and sliced almonds.
9:15pm snack - same as my treat at dinner...Blueberries with a dollop of vanilla yogurt and sliced almonds. I am also working on my last water bottle of the day.
I felt good today. I wasn't ever hungry and I only ate the allowable foods. Let's see what my "friend" the digital scale has to say tomorrow :) Happy Healthy Living!
