I was given a gift this morning from my digital scale in the form of 123.2 lbs. Totally undeserved I know but I am grateful for it none the less. I never was that great at math so apparently Chocolate + exercise really can equal weight loss. However the lack of other nutrients may cause side effects like osteoporosis, hormone imbalances or even diabetes...
Okay so I didn't shoot chocolate into my veins today so that is an improvement. I read Sara's Health blog and I realized my water intake is a an all time low right now. I seem to be substituting diet soda for water. I gave up soda for 4 months and then I had "just one" which turned into a full blown addiction AGAIN! I think I am going to start my own club called the CDSAA. That is the caffeinated, diet, soda, addicts, anonymous! Tomorrow I am going to up the water intake and see what happens.
I went to the gym this morning an I did leg and arm weights and I did some abs. It feels good to work my muscles like that.
So this is what I ate today...
1 cup Kashi Summer Berry Granola with All Bran mixed in with 1% milk
diet soda
leftover veggie pizza
one slice of fresh pineapple
4 reisens (no good reason except my lack of willpower)
Chicken Carbonara (recipe from food network Yum!!!!!)
Banana cream Parfait
not too bad except the main ingredient in my dinner and dessert tonight was CREAM. God's gift to us through cows. Cream is like butter it makes everything taste divine. We will see how I fair with my scale tomorrow. I think more veggies are in order. I have them in my fridge I am just being lazy and not preparing them to eat. Eat Healthy!
